Legislation moving forward to help Iowa pharmacists facing unprecedented financial woes

OSKALOOSA, Iowa — As many independent and small pharmacies across the state are facing severe financial strain, Iowa legislators are working to pass a bill to help.

According to a survey by the Iowa Pharmacy Association, 40.8% of independent pharmacies in the state say they expect to close within the next year.
